Hello Support Community,

besides PSE 2024 i am using ON1 PR 2023 as main Raw Converter and Picture Manager. But i would like to use the PSE 2024 Organizer as Main Picture Manager because i trust more in PSE Future Items than in ON1 PR Development. But Anyway...

I selectet in the Setting (as you can see) the option to show both files as "one file". But this does´t work.

I am alway seeing bot files, the raw and the jpeg file. This ist somenthing i really wont to avoid.

Can somebody help me with this issue? Or is it not possible the way i want to do it?

THX to all the helpers her....

Greets Marcus

Stacking jpeg and raw files only works if you use that option when you import the files from your camera or card reader.  If you haven't done that, you can either stack jpeg and raw files manually.  Or you can try selecting groups of jpeg/raw photos and choosing Stack>Automatically Suggest Photo Stacks from a right-click context menu:

You will then be presented with a dialog that allows you to stack the jpeg/raw files.

Unfortunately, this method is not perfect, and if you shoot photos in bursts, you will have multiple photos in the suggested stacks (which may be OK for your purposes).  I have requested that Adobe allow jpeg/raw photos to be stacked automatically after import.  I believe this would be beneficial for users who are new to the Organizer, or those (like me) who sometimes import the files without switching the option on when importing from a camera or card reader.

. . .   If you use the Suggest Photo Stacks option, you should only select small groups of photos as it can take a long time for the analysis to take place.  Experiment to see how many photos can be selected at one time to make most efficient use of your computer hardware and your patience.
