PSE 9 - unable to sign in on the splash page

Hello,

I'm unable to sign in with my Adobe ID (whihc I'm using now to sign in at Abobe.com to access community support) when I launch PSE 9 on my new laptop,

The error message is:

"Error

Photoshop.com servicesare currently unavailable.  Please try again later or check your connection. Error 400."

I know it's an older version, it this due to PSE 9 being out of support?

Thanks for any help,

Marv

PSEv.9 is no longer supported by Adobe. The license was for installation on two computers. Perhaps you did not deactivate over the many years that you have utilized the software, Be that as it may, it is problematic that this old version will function properly on a modern operating system.

Suggest that you install the latest free 30-day trial of PSE. If it works to your satisfaction, you may purchase the license subsequently. Adobe may give you a discount as a repeat customer, but shop around at Amazon or the box stores, as their price may be more advantageeous without "discount."
