You are missing the full Photoshop...

That option is not available in Photoshop Elements.

You can recover that command and many others by installing the very affordable Elements+ add-on.

@Courtney5E3C

Read the whole thread and test the smart object section in the link I have provided.

https://elementsplus.net/help/en/convert-object.htm

The added script does not transform PSE into PS with the same menus, it provides the missing functionality.

You can ask the author for help.

Hi Michael,

I downloaded the DEMO version to see if it was compatible with my laptop.

I shut down Version Elements 11 and installed the DEMO version.

After 30 minutes, upon re-opening PSE 11, the Evil Wheel is still spinning and I cannot use PSE 11.

Any suggestions?

Hi John,

It's normal that the installation requires several minutes to rebuild the cache:

However that seems too long in your case. I would contact Andrei Doubrovski directly for more help.

By the way, the DEMO version has only a few scripts to test the compatibility of your laptop and does not include all advanced scripts.

Never heard of it before but that's an incredible add-on and at the price of a pizza too.  Sure wish they accepted PayPal.  Thanks, MichaelB..

The author of Elements+, Andrei Dubrovski also monitors another independent forum:

http://photoshopelementsandmore.com/

You might as well browse the discussions for resources about the PSE etitor or organizer as well as Lightroom and Photoshop. Much richer that Adobe's faqs.
