I'm download my Photoshop elements 2019 but it keeps giving me the error listen below. This is a new PC so everything is the newest it can be, I've also tried 3 different browsers including Chrome, Edge and Explorer all to no avail. I've looked up plenty of solutions online but now of them work. Can anybody help me figure this out? Thanks in advance.

Hey, @a_7595. Welcome to the Photoshop Elements community. I've moved your post to Elements discussions from Photoshop bugs section.
This is a common error for older installers & machines. You can follow the steps in the content here: https://adobe.ly/4d5Boyo
This should help. Thanks!

I have PSE 2019 running on Windows 11.
How did you get in touch with Adobe support? You may have talked to a scammer posing as Adobe support.

I contacted them using the chat feature on their official website.

Like I said, the donwloader does not support win11. Photoshop however does, you probably downloaded it on win10 and then upgraded to win11

Try making Chrome your default browser.

I have already tried that, as it was already my default browser.

Turns out buying things online doesn't always mean you own them. Despite this product being advertised as a perpetual liscense agreement, you unfortunately no longer have permission to download it because adobe discontinued support. If you still had it installed I believe you'd still have editing access, however there is no way to install it anymore.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I have Photoshop Elements and Premiere 2019 on a disc. My PC is also new running WIndows 11 and all my browsers are up to date.
I even udated my registry using the suggestion listed here: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/update-operating-system-and-browser.html?internal_browser.... It didn't work.

I have had the same problem with Premiere Elements 2019. I have 2 licenses. Both were running just fine having been installed under Windows 10 on machines that were then upgraded to Windows 11. I replaced one of those machines, deactivated Premiere Elements on it, and tried to install on the new Windows 11 machine. No luck ("Update your browser") -- and I tried numerous published fixes, including registry editing, and they didn't help.
I think this is a matter of business ethics. If I have a valid license to RUN the software, I also have a valid license to INSTALL it. This is a mistake by Adobe -- they made the installer depend on something that was not a documented feature of Windows and was only present by chance -- and they need to correct their installer.
If they want to sell temporary licenses (as they do nowadays), that's fine. But this was not sold as a temporary license. You don't get to change the terms of the contract after the purchaser has paid the money.
Does anyone from Adobe read this? I speak and write about computer ethics. This is about to become a textbook example.
(And remember the Photoshop CS2 debacle, which ended with Adobe having to make an activation-free release?)

So there is no way to get the installer working?

I got the same error as michael_1540 with about a month old install of windows 11. Will installing creative cloud help? I have a bundle pack of premire elements and photoshop elements 2019.

Try activating the product offline. See the instructions in this HelpX article.

The installer for the elements software is the problem. I can launch the installer with no problem, but it wont install the elements software. I am getting the "Update your browser" error a few seconds after I launch the installer. This is for both Premire and Photoshop elements 2019. I followed the steps in this HelpX article to download the installer.

Turn off Ethernet or WiFi before starting the setup executable. That's the only solution I did that worked.
