I have a new camera , Sony A7Riii and I can't open the raw files in Photoshop Elements 2018
I believe there is an update that allows me to open files taken by the camera but I don't know where is it or how to download
Yes of corse , purchased from the apple store about a month before the release of the camera, i checked at the apple store if there is an update but there was nothing
Unfortunately, since the mac app store is a "sandboxed" application, the regular photoshop elements
updates that adobe releases for photoshop elements won't work in the mac and windows app store
versions. The updates, if any would come from Software Update on your mac.
Maybe an adobe employee will see this thread and comment if there are plans to update the mac app store to the latest camera raw 10.1.
In the meantime you could use the adobe dng converter 10.1 to convert the files to dng copies, which pse 2018 should then open.
