Re: Elements 9 - Older Version Download

Dear Adobe Support,  I have the same issue as Viktela.  I hae used Adobe ELements 9 for years and do not want to stop.  I have just bought at windwos 10 laptop and uploaded the software from my DVD, yes I have the licecne number,l but it will not start becasue the "adobe\elements 9 Organiser\Photoshop Elements 9.0.exe" files is missing/deleted/blocked. Can Adobe please provide me with the file?  Yours Andrew Ritchie

    Windows 10 uses smartscreen. i am taking a guess here, but i think that smartscreen blocks the elements executable. 

    simply unblock it ans it should work

     

    How to open a file blocked by Windows Defender SmartScreen
    1. Navigate to the file or program that's being blocked by SmartScreen.
    2. Right-click the file.
    3. Click Properties.
    4. Click the checkbox next to Unblock so that a checkmark appears.
    5. Click Apply

Then click “Sign in to contact us” It should be possible to start an on-line chat with Adobe Support. Make it clear you are not looking for support for an older product but need a download link for the product you already own.
