Re: How to download Premiere Elements 2018?

I had this problem a few weeks ago. Nothing I could do helped so I went on the chat help line. The guy I contacted gave me a code and once I entered this the download worked ok. It is very slow (I turned off face recognition which improved matters) but I cannot connect my camera to Elements 2018. Photos download from the card with a card reader. I shall be contacting my helper again soon

    If you have downloaded the images using a card reader it should be possible to import directly from the folder on your computer.

    Launch Organizer and from the menu choose:

    File >> Get Photos & Videos >> From Files & Folders

    Navigate to the folder where you are keeping the photos and open it. Then press Ctrl+A to select all. Click Open or Get Media button.

    If you don’t need facial recognition, it is possible to disable the auto-analysis in preferences.
