Removal of PSE 12.1, replace with PSE2020 Mac High Sierra

Question

Hi

After six years with PSE12 decided to update to PSE2020.

What's the best way to remove PSE12, and replace with PSE2020?
Aside from running "uninstall" are there other little things I have to do?
Does any of this have any effect on the CS6 which I'm keeping and continuing to run?
In other words, are there any "shared preferences" between any of the CS6 apps and PSE12 that I don't want to touch?
Anything else I should be aware of?

Hoping someone's done this before...

Running on a MacPro with High Sierra.

On High Sierra (not Catalina) simply go to utilities >> Adobe Installers and choose to uninstall PSE12.There will be no effect on CS6. Both are entirely separate apps.
