Hi,

Is it possible to save files over 2GB in ELEMENTS?  The info that I receive when searching online applies to Photoshop but not ELEMENTS.  I am using PSE 12.

Thanks!

You can save your file as a TIFF which supports up to 4 gb in size.

My file is approximately 9 gb in size.  Any other suggestions?

    Thanks!

If your looking at the Document Size in photoshop elements, that's just an estimate.

Have you actually tried saving the file(s) as PSD or TIFF?

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond.

I design alphabet photography prints and use LOTS of layers.

Example:  A print designed with a name that has 11 letters would have approximately 858 layers (26 letters in the alphabet with 3 different letter options per alphabet).

Would you be able to offer step-by-step instructions on what I should do....if it is even possible to do this?  I store files in Dropbox.

If not I understand.  Thanks again!
