How do I reduce the size of my image for online posting in Elements 15.

    If you want to mail a batch of resized photos, you can:

    - from the editor use the 'process multiple files command' to resize

    - from the organizer, use the 'Export to new files' process

    - from the organizer, 'share' option: select your images, 'Share' and choose email. You can choose your size. That works even for raw files which are converted to jpeg for the purpose.

    For a single image, you can also use the menu File >> 'Save for Web' which is the most flexible and efficient way to reduce size in a controlled manner.

    Of course, you can also use the crop tool to arrive at the exact physical dimensions (H & W) that you desire. The downside to this is that you may discard (crop) some information. The file resolution can be defined on the crop tool's option bar. For web work, 72px/in is ok.
