slow response

Hi - I'm doing the trial & there's a lag when I apply a filter or other action until I see the result. Is this normal in Win 7? Thanks.

Hi Charles,

You can check your system stats in PSE itsellf. You can find it under Help menu->System Info.

You can also check the minimum system requirement of PSE from this page: System requirements | Adobe Photoshop Elements

Dell Inspiron 1.8 ghz, not sure about RAM...I'm trying a defrag as I remembered after installing a large program, it can be fragmented.

That is a very slow processor. My guess is that you don't have much RAM, either.
