I replaced my Epson Perfection 4490 Photo scanner with an Epson v600 Perfection Photo scanner and I don't have some of the editing options for photos scanned with the new scanner that I had with the old one.

    Hi,

    Which operating system are you running on?

    Which version of Photoshop Elements are you using?

    Are the drivers for your scanner up to date?

    Can you give an example of which `options are missing please

    Brian,

    Thank you for your reply. I have figured out the problem, and as you would expect, it was “pilot error”. I was scanning black and white photos, so I set the scanner on 16-bit Grayscale. I wasn’t able to do some things like Haze Removal, but when I changed the scanner setting to 48-bit Color it fixed the problem.
