Question

Specifying starting slide in a slide show

Is there any way to create a slide show that will always restart with the first slide. I can create a slide show but when I stop it and later restart it it restarts at the point where I stopped.

I'm guessing that the problem is with your PDF viewer.   In Adobe Acrobat, there is a setting to open a page from the last view when closed.

I imagine that the same thing is happening in your case.  It has nothing to do with the Elements Slideshow Creator.

But what program are you using to play the video?

Are you creating a PDF slideshow or a .wmv video slideshow?

I'm creating (and have created) a .pdf slideshow. I am using the Foxit PDF
reader to play back the show. The playback is picking up the interval
between advancing slides, so I am wondering if there is something I could
set to always have it start showing at slide 1 . the first slide.

What version of Elements are you using to create the slideshow?

And what program or device are you using to play it?
