Question

Text right to left support ?

Hello,

I'm using "photoshop elements" 2018 on win 10.

Some times I type text and add it to an image.

I'm typing in hebrew, so it's a "right to left" text.

It is not working.

All the text I type is written from left to right, and I don't see a way to change it.

Any ide?

As a workaround, you can type your text in any text editor and cut and paste it into the text entry box in Photoshop Elements.

You are correct.  I wasn't paying close enough attention.

Photoshop elements doesn't have the ability to change the text engine to Middle Eastern like photoshop cc does.

You can however use this template to type your Hebrew text.

    windows

Adobe - Photoshop : For Windows : Adobe Photoshop CS4 - Template to edit and create Arabic text

    mac

Adobe - Photoshop : For Macintosh : Adobe Photoshop CS4 - template to edit and create Arabic text

    Hello,

    thanks for the idea.

I tried to use it, but when I open the template in photoshop elements, I can type, but from some reason I cannot set the text color properly.

    Any idea?

    What font are you using?

    Could you post a screenshot?
