Transfer from Google photos to photoshop Elements 2019

Community Beginner ,

I use Google photos to back up my iphone 7 pics.

I want to import photos from google photo to photoshop elements 2019.

I already have imported photos to Elements from another camera, so I have files set up.

I use High Sierra on my macbook pro.

I cannot figure out how to do this.

thanks.

Right click on a photo in Google Photos, and in the menu that comes up go to Save Image as ...

You can populate a folder of images for your purpose.

thanks. It's slow going because of the number of pictures I"m transferring in, but with a little fiddling, it worked.

Is there an updated work flow? I mean having all photos of my mobile on my PC is no longer practical. (year: 2022)
