Transferring Elements 10 catalogue from Windows 7 PC to Lightroom on iMac

I have installed Lr on a new iMac and want to transfer my catalogue from Elements 10 on a PC (Windows 7).  Creative Cloud support told me to install Elements on the Mac and restore the catalogue from the Elements 10 backup.  He said that would create a catalogue in Elements on the Mac which Lr would then recognize and import.  I installed an Elements 15 trial version on the Mac since I only need it for the transfer but I see no "Restore from backup" command in the File menu.  What am I missing?
