trouble opening jpeg and DNG files in Elements 20

Question

I shoot in raw and large jpeg. I have been trying to open the files from Elements 20 and get a response that says can not complete your request from a program error message. Anyone else experiencing this and how do I troubleshoot?

I assume you mean PSE2020 (version 18).
