Turn off individual icons after use in tools

Seems a little redundant

Most users would like to avoid repeating a command or an option if nothing has been changed. For example, most of the complaints about the preferences are about settings which are not 'sticky'. There must be a logical programming reason to require that there must always be an active tool, just like there is a reason that there always must be an open catalog. Anyway, I don't care because if I need to use a different tool I have to click to change it. If I had to also click to disable the other one, That would require two clicks, which is absolutely useless and redundant.
