Unable to Save edited file Photoshop 8

I am using Photoshop Elements 8 in Windows 10, which was passed onto me by a friend. After editing a Photo, I tried saving it, but had an error message saying "Could not save C:\my file details.Jpg, because the file could not be found.

This error only appears in this program, all other programs used on my PC are able to save, without any trouble.

HP G5105 PC Win 10.

Any advice would be appreciated.

PSEv.8 works perfectly for me on my desktop with WIN10.

After enhancing an image in PSEv.8, go to File>save as and point to where you wish to save the file on disk. Also, name the file and select a file format.
