Unable to share / email photo - PS Elements 2018

This used to work fine. Now I'm getting the message - "Invalid credentials" "Please check email address and password, then try again". I'm 100% sure address and password are correct. I've also tried entering a different email address and password in "Preferences > Email". When I click the "Validate" button, I get the same message as above. Using PSE 2018 on a Windows 10 PC. Has this feature been disabled or?

    Gmail (and other email providers) have upped the security requirements for 3rd party applications that want to access your email account since the code was written for this part of Adobe Photoshop Elements.

     

    Look at this Adobe Knowledge Base document for how to fix it if you're using Gmail. I've also used a similar process to get an AOL email account up and running.

    I do have both Gmail and AOL accounts. Will do my best to follow the instructions to validate. Appreciate your help.
