Unable to use Elements 14? C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSVCR110.DLL

I am unable to get Elements 14 to open. I get C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSVCR110.DLL error message.

I am disappointed that Adobe does not have "live" support to help me with my problem. This is a disgrace. I would prefer not to buy Elements 15 and learn how to navigate that version.

Please help!

Thank you.

While attempting to download PSE14, the .exe showed up on the lower left. I waited until it did what it does. When I opened it there was another box (I forgot the name and exact choices) but I click whatever would allow me to continue. I don't remember if there were any confirmations that the program was installed.

I looked to see if there was a desktop icon (because my pc makes icons automatically) but there I did not see one. I checked the start button (lower left) and Adobe Elements was/is not listed. I just went to look, by going to "uninstall programs" menu however, once again I did not (and still do not) see Adobe Elements under the "A" or the "P" programs.

I did search C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 14 from the search area in the lower left. Message says: "The program can't start because AutoCropCore.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

I must have reinstalled about 10X already.

Hello All,

I would like to be able to use my PSE14 sometime soon.

Is there anyone out there that can help me to get it up and running?

This has taken quite awhile already and I am becoming very disappointed with the lack of service, support and the product.

PSE14 is old software. It is no longer supported by Adobe. It may no longer be compatible with the latest W7 updates. As fellow users and volunteers, we have really tried our best to help. Sorry it did not work.

I just installed this program last year, and I have always had Windows 10.

I would hope that Adobe can provide support for a product that is only 2 years old. PSE14 was released in September 2015.

I would expect that your software lasts longer than that. I have only had this program for about one and half years. You really need to work on getting the software to work longer than that.

The latest version is not PSE15. Adobe has released PSE 2018.  I have posted a summary of the new features on my blog which can be accessed at this link:

I downloaded the update for 2017 but there was no change. Only now I can't even open the program at all.

I hope that I chose the correct link.

Thank you.

Try re-starting your computer. If that makes no difference, uninstall PSE14 via the Windows Control Panel. Then download and re-install. Go to the link below and expand the tab for Elements 14.
