Upgrade photoshop elements 14

Hi. I'm using photoshop elements 14 for windows 10 (I own a license) and I'm thinking to upgrading it to version 22. Can I do it with a license upgrade or I must buy a full license again ? I'm asking that because a lot of years have passed since the 14 version.

 Each version is a separate program.  You are eligible to get a prior owner discount.  At this time of year, you may do better with a sale from a reputable source.

As Greg says, you can upgrade from any prior version of Elements.

However, shop around. You may find a new full version may be cheaper than an upgrade from Adobe.

The other advantage of a full version is that you only need your full version serial number in case you ever want to reinstall. With an upgrade, you always need two serial numbers - the upgrade and the serial from the version you upgraded from.

Oh your reply about the 2 serial numbers tied to each other is way better explanation. I knew it so they are software independent but not serial number independant so it adds another level of confusion to the install. I will buy a completely separate version that way I avoid any future confusion.
