How can I sort photos in albums individueli?

On the top of the browsing space, next to All media, there is a 'Sort by' menu. Set it to 'Albu order'. Then you can move a file or a set of selected files by drag and drop elsewhere in the browsing space.

. . . and you can only choose the Sort By: Album Order when an Album is selected.
