Watermark Elements 14

How do I create a watermark file for Elements 14?
There are tutorials for elements 12 but these don't seem to apply the same for Elements 14, so if any one knows how I can create a watermark file that I can use in Elements 14 I would be grateful.

    I don't understand the question. What is a "watermark file?". Are you trying to apply copyright symbol?

    I want to create a transparent overlay with my name on it so I can then add it to my pictures, I know how to do it on a once only basis but I want to create a transparent overlay/layer that I can re-use, apply to multiple images and not have to re-create it every time I want to do it.

    So in short I want to produce a file (.jpeg, .PNG or whatever) that I can use to put my name on any picture that I chose.

    ok.

    1. File>new>blank file. Make H&W 4", resolution=300px/in, Background:White
    2. Type your signature with blocky font, e.g. Goudy Stout
    3. Drag signature to the middle
    4. Merge layers, leaving you with one layer (Background layer.)
    5. Double click the locked Background Layer (in the layers palette) to convert it to a regular layer
    6. Activate the Magic wand tool, and set tolerance to 32 and uncheck "Contiguous" on the option bar. Then. left click on the white background and hit delete on the keyboard.You should be left with your signature surrounded by transparency.
    7. Press CTRL+D to get rid of the marching ants.
    8. Save this as PNG file type. This will preserve transparency. JPEG will not.

    Another option for your purpose is to make a signature brush which you can save. Google "How to make a signature brush in Photoshop Elements" and you will get many hits.
