I bought a Photoshop elements 15 software unit a couple of months ago. Just a couple of hours I was going to bring up the software up and all of sudden I can't find it anywhere. The icon shows up but when I try to call it just won't show up. I proceeded to try to find it in my Control Panel (win 10) and it tells me that I do not have said program in that list!  What the heck has happened?  Can any one please help?

Also how can I get ahold of ANYONE in Adobe to help me solve this issue?

Thank you

Hi Boris,

Do you see any Photoshop Elements 15 at this location :

C:\Program Files\Adobe ?

If no, try to reinstall the software from where you did it last.

If yes, go inside it and find PhotoshopElementsEditor  (file type: Application) and double click to launch it.

Mention if you face any issue.

Thanks,

Arshla

Dear Arshla,

I have tried your suggestion but I cannot find anywhere the Photoshop Elements editor. In other words it feels as if the whole thing has disappeared from my computer right in front of me. Very strange.  And worst yet is that I cannot find anywhere in the Adobe webb site an address where I can get help with they helping me re install the application, since I do have proof that I bought the download less than a month ago through the Microsoft store and I have the order number and confirmation of payment.

I am flustered!

Could you help me finding that address or phone number I will greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

Go back to the Windows Store and search your purchases.

You should be able to download again.

Try making a new desktop shortcut. Hold down the Windows key and press D to get quickly to your desktop.

Right-click anywhere on the desktop and choose

New >> Shortcut

Click the browse button and navigate to:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 15

Inside the Photoshop Elements 15 folder scroll to the files beginning with P and find the application.

Choose (highlight) PhotoshopElementsEditor

Click Next and then Finish

You should be able to use the new desktop icon in future to launch the PSE15 Editor directly.

When did you last use the program to edit or import photos?  I am asking this because after you buy the product and download the installation file, you also need to install it using your serial number and your email address.  Did you do this?

In windows 10 launch your Windows Explorer (File Explorer) and then go to:

<C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 15>

Can you see anything in that folder?

Thank you for your effort but I did as you suggested and the response is that there is no such thing where I am looking for.

It is all very strange, since I do know that I installed said program a few weeks ago correctly and it worked fine until yesterday afternoon when I needed to use it once more and I could not even find the icons on the monitor. What I did find is that all of sudden I have now an app called Photoshop "express" which does very little but show the file requested on the screen and little else.

I have been handling PC's since 1984 and this is the very first time such a thing has happened to me with an installed application.

Now I find myself trying to have someone in Adobe to help me reinstalling that application but there is no one that shows up.

By any chance would you happen to know where I should call except but the locations they offer on their site?

Thank you.
