After installing windows 10 creator update my Photo Shop Elements 7 will open but will not display correctly and is unusable. I have the original CD and I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice to no avail. I have also install a patch from the Adobe tech support site.

Owners of old programs simply have problems with Windows 10... none of which is Adobe's fault... Adobe did not change your old program to make it stop working... Microsoft changed their operating system and THAT is why your old program won't work, not because of anything Adobe did... Also... every time Microsoft issues a Win10 update, there is the risk that an old program that HAS been working after the initial Win10 upgrade will STOP working... bottom line, old programs require a matching old operating system

I surely know who to blame, Microsoft killed PS elements 7. I was hoping for a patch from Adobe even though I know its not their fault. I tried running it in compatibility mode, but it is still a no go. Anyone else have a thought? Thanks to John T smith for his input. My dilemma is when that update becomes mandatory all my computers will not run that program and I will be forced to upgrade.
