Zombie Eyes

I've used a flash at a distance shot of my grand kids. I get a red eye and a white eye which I call zombie eyes. I use Photoshop Element and tried using red eye correction but it does work on either the red eye or white eye. Is there a way to fix this condition?

It is really difficult to respond to your inquiry absent a representative picture for us to look at. If you are so inclined, you can post the picture via the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the reply box on the forum.

In some cases it is possible to clone a good eye from another picture.

In this example I want to open the boy's squinting eyes:

I roughly selected his eye from another picture:

Copied the selection to the clipboard: Edit > Copy.

Pasted the selection onto the first picture: Edit > Paste.

This placed the open eye onto a new layer.

Used the Eraser tool with a soft brush size to remove all but the eye:

Used the Move tool to resize the eye and position over the original:
