Question

converting PSE/PSD projects to JPEG

When I reload a project, then try to "save as", I don't get the JPG option as a format - just PSE and PSD. Really need to convert, as I can't print CD labels without doing this. Is there another way? Elements 2018. I'm not very smart with computers, and have only just converted to Mac and Photoshop (never had problems with Windows and Publisher!)

For a CD cover for instance:

    - the .pse format saves the definition of your project to make the images used in the project available if you want to edit or modify it later. It's not an image file like jpeg, psd, tiff, png... only a list of your 'assets' and the way you combine them.

    - you get the .pdf format as an option to print (not the .psd format). It's a 'printing' format, not really an image format. You can print or display .pdf files on any printer, computer or other device. And what is important is that you can use the command File >> Open to open the .pdf file and save it as jpeg or any other available format.
