How to convert from DNG to TIFF or JPEG in Photoshop Elements 15?

Hi,

Using Photoshop Elements 15, (with Windows 10) how could I convert Adobe's proprietary DNG file extension to a TIFF or JPEG without having to use third party (possibly malicious) converters?

Thank you!

Correct answer hatstead

Irfanview is a free program in which DNG file format is supported.

Thank you!

Would be nice/very helpful if Adobe would have a proper operator's manual!!!!

If by "imported" you mean you have the dng files in the organizer, you can select the dng files in the organizer and go to

File>Export As New File(s).

When you open the original cr2 files into camera raw, instead of using the Save As from inside the converter, which only saves out to dng, use the Open button to open the cr2s into the pse 15 editor and then use File>Save As to Tiff or Jpeg.

If you have more than one file open in the Editor, then you can go to File>Process Multiple Files to speed up the saving of the open files orv use Process Multiple Files on the folder of dngs.
