Installing Updates for Photoshop Elements 14, Windows 10

I'm trying to install Update 14.1 and it keeps failing.  Have attempted this action several times to no avail.  Contacted support but they said they couldn't help because Elements 15 is out and (although I just bought 14 last year) they no longer support it.?!

You need to create a hidden admin account which has super admin privileges.

If you are able to install the updates in that account. You can switch to your original account and the updates should reflect up to date in the original account as well.

Saw that update but that says that it is specifically for CS6.  What does Adobe Creative or Creative Suite 6 updates have to do with PSE 14?

Ok, by activating the Admin Account I was able to install the update without any issues.  Thank you very much.

Should anyone else have this issue here's a link to activate the Admin Account:

    Is there an error message?

If so, exactly what does it say?

Yes:  Error Message – “Update failed, Updates could not be applied”  “Photoshop Elements 14.1 Update.  There was an error installing this update.  Please quit and try again later.  Error Code U44M1I210”

Attempted multiple times but got same results.  Attempted trouble-shooting steps found in forum but they didn’t help.  When I attempt to install the update it only goes about 1/10 of the bar length.  I’m beginning to think it may be a corrupt download from Adobe?   Thinking about uninstalling and reinstalling with a full download I got from Adobe but thought I’d try the forum first.

FYI – I had no problems with APE on my other computer.  Unfortunately that computer had a bad motherboard so I installed in on my current laptop.  (Both had Windows 10.)
