Nik Silver Efex Pro ( which is now available as a free download ) has been recommended to me as a very effective Conversion to Black & White. It is available as an Add-On to Photoshop and Lightroom, Can it be used with Elements 2018?

It was briefly made available for free by Google back in 2016. However, the free download links seem to have disappeared, unless you've still got one which works.

DxO acquired the Nik collection from Google in Oct 2017. DxO released an updated Nik collection version 1.1 for sale in June 2018.
