Photoshop elements does not open RAW from Canon G7 Mark ll

I have installed Photoshop Elements 11 on Mac. I always could open and edit my RAW pictures from my old camera Canon EOS 600D.

Now I have a new camera, Canon G7 Mark ll.

Photoshop tells me it is not able to open the pictures.

But I have checked the Website and the programm Adobe Camera Raw should support the CR2 files from my camera.

What can I do to open and edit my pics?

Your link above shows that this camera was first supported by Camera Raw 9.6

The link below shows that Camera Raw 9.6 is only compatible with Elements 15

New cameras require either free software updates - or paid for upgrades. Or keep your old software and convert to DNG

The Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II requires PSE14 or PSE15.

Alternatively convert to DNG and the DNG files will work with PSE11.

You can batch convert a whole folder of CR2 images into Adobe raw (DNG) without any loss of quality and the dng files will be backward compatible with all versions of PSE. DNG Converter is free from Adobe.
