Hi
I'm fairly new to Photoshop and have been asked to supply a image for use as a desktop wallpaper as follows:
2133x1600px
150dpi
24bit
Jpeg
From what I can work out PS doesn't support 24bit jpegs, but thought I'd check on here to see if anyone can help!
Cheers
Pete

Almost all JPEGs are 24 bits. 3 x 8 bits. Make sure it is RGB, and the JPEG will be 24 bit.

Photoshop lists the bit depth as Bits/Channel. There are 3 channels in an RGB image. So a JPEG which by definition is an RGB image with 8bits/channel will actually be a 24 bit image. No conversion necissary. Leave it as RGB and 8bit/channel in photoshop and work on 2133x1600px 150dpi image. It will be fine.

24 is the composite value, and in your title tab, it would be depicted as RGB/8
150 dpi (or ppi) is how many of those pixels will print to an inch of paper if they wanted a print out of the wallpaper. 2133 px/150 ppi = 14.22 inches on the long side.
But yeah, you want your work accepted, so go with their specs.
