Alt-Backspace taking two hits to work? CC 2018

I need to press Alt-Backspace two times in a row to get it to fill foreground color after updating to CC 2018 this morning. Is there a setting change I need to make or is this a bug? Thanks for a quick reply. This is a big part of my job as a comic book colorist and driving me nuts today.

This is resolved in Photoshop 19.0.1 which was just released.

If you don't see the Photoshop update in your Creative Cloud application, then click in flyout in upper right corner and choose "Check for App Updates".

Almost one month since this big problem has been reported by numerous users and Adobe has not be able to fix it ! Its a shame. Did all the  Abobe engineers go on vacation at the same time?

I actually had to use three or four hits to make it work today, but I can't remember the circumstances.

So Ctrl Alt backspace fills with white, regardless of what your foreground and background colours are. Alt backspace then works to fill with the foreground colour, but only once.

What I can't remember is if Ctrl Alt Backspace always used to fill with white, and why it should do so.  I only have CC 2018 install now so can't test.

Same here. I've got it down to 2 hits, but a few times today it's taken 3-4.

I have the same issue. At least I know it's not something I did on my side...

Issue happens for me with other things: CTRL + ALT + I

I tried Ctl+Alt (2 key hits)+Shift +Backspace "to execute a fill". Worked no matter which sequence I used as long as Alt key was entered with two hits.  I also use Ctl+Shft+Alt+N+E to create a Merge-Up copy of the image with three adjustment layers. It worked as long as "Alt" receives two hits (Enters).
