Hello!
I need urgent help please.
I want to open my camera raw files from my new Canon EOS 6D Mark II in Photoshop.
I tried to install the cameraraw.exe 9.12.1., since this one seems to be only one working with my Camera Raw files as said in this link:
Cameras supported by Camera Raw
However, then it is said, that the only raw installer compatible with my Photoshop CS6 is version 9.1.1.:
"Camera Raw 9.1.1 is the most current version compatible with Bridge CS6 and Photoshop CS6." ~https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-in-installer.html#9_1_1
But with this one I can not open my RAW files!!!
Help! What can I do?
How can I be able to edit RAW of Canon 6d Mark II in PS CS6?!
My Photoshop version is 13.0.1 x64, Extended.
My RAW Plugin is Camera Raw 9.1.1 & Camera Raw Filter 9.1.1
Thank you and I am looking forward to hearing from you,
Melissa

If you prefer processing RAW images with ACR instead of the camera maker’s proprietary software you might want to petition them to allow shooting DNG so that Adobe does not have to play catch-up with each new camera model’s RAW format.
Please see for yourself which version of Camera Raw supports a camera and which version of Photoshop is compatible with that ACR version:

Using the free DNG Converter would be an alternative.

I see. So under this link my question has finally been answered:
Update to camera support policy in CS6
In order to pursue further innovations in image processing and workflow technology, the next release of Adobe Camera Raw (v 9.1.1) will be the final version available for use with CS6.
customers can utilize the free Adobe DNG Converter utility to receive the very latest camera support for CS6 and older versions of our software going all the way back to Photoshop CS1 and Lightroom 1.0.

Too bad...I wanted to do animation with this camera, and now have to convert every single frame...

The Adobe DNG converter actually works on entire folders of images at a time. Try all or a portion of your images in a single folder then convert that folder full of images.

When one decides to stick with obsolete software one should keep in mind that introducing newer hardware (or OS versions, drivers, …) can cause problems.

There should be no loss of quality.
