CTRL +/- Zoom on Windows not working

I've tried searching for a solution to this, but no such luck (I saw there was a bug with the previous version of PS I had, but never experienced it until now.) Running version 21.0.2 on my Windows PC and just opened PS for the first time this year (2020) and the CTRL + command (even CTRL ++) is not working for zooming in on a layer and the same goes for zooming out CTRL -
I've tried tweaking my keyboard shortcuts where I see it shows zoom as CTRL ++ but that doesn't work. I haven't changed any settings since I last used the program so I have no idea what happened.

Correct answer kaiseya

SNAP. It's my left number pad on my keyboard! Didn't even THINK to try the top row because my hands never really float that way. SO... that fixed it.... feeling a little derpy. Thank you!

To rule out the easy solutions first:

  • Do Ctrl + and Ctrl - work in other applications, such as your browser?
  • Have you tried both sides of the keyboard?
  • Or another keyboard?

Yes, but it's the correct answer, and I'll mark it so others can consider it when running down this issue.

Sometimes Preferences gets corrupted. Have you tried a reset?
