Hide Anchor Points

If I try to draw using the line tool, I cannot. Because these bloody anchor points get in the way.
There must be a way to hide them or I can never line up the previous line with the next.

    Hi

    You can't get rid of them but you can:

    a. After drawing the first line , click on the line tool again before drawing the second. That hides the anchor points on the first.

    b. Click the path options (cog wheel) in the options bar and reduce the thickness of the path. The anchor points shrink with the thickness.
