How do we save dds files?

I currently have nearly 4000 files to export to dds from Photoshop files and no way to do it in Photoshop CC. This is crazy. Yes I can install the most recent dds file format plugins into PS 2015 but trying to save just results in a crash to desktop.

So my questions are

1. does anyone have a viable Photoshop CC 2015 solution?

2. If not .. then why have Nvidia abandoned these essential development tools?

3. If they have then why haven't Adobe taken up the mantlet since the only other way to seemingly do it is to use GIMP?

Google psd to dds and you will find freeware sites that do the job.

Same for jpg to dds freeware.

Hi Pat_at_Shenandoah,

Greetings!!!

Photoshop does not support that format.

As you said GIMP , yes there is a plugin that makes GIMP to work with dds files.
