Question

Image isn’t appearing in Liquify box?

Hi there,

I'm new to photoshop and following an online intro guide to the software. The module is on liquify - I've selected the layer on the allocated image, selected liquify in the filter tab and a new box opens, however, the image doesn't appear in it and I'm not sure why. I've selected and deselected all the available boxes. Went back and made sure it was a smart object but also tried it as rasterize and neither seem to work. The online module didn't appear to have this issue and I can't find a way to resolve myself so if anyone had  any advise that'd be great.

I'm working off the latest version of photoshop (22.1.1) and I'm a PC user.

many thanks,

amanda

Your screenshot shows a part of the layer on the top.

Use the Hand tool, zoom in/out to reveal the content.

if this is not the case,  Please post a screenshot of the layers

Hi Mohammad.Harb,

I had a check there and zoomed out and in but still there's nothing so I've taken a picture of the main photoshop screen. This is a smart object, if you have any idea I'd really appreciate the help,

many thanks,

amanda

Learn to post screen captures on windows all you need do  is press PrtScn and the screen  is captured to the clipboard them  you can paste it into this forum using the insert Picture icon  then click on the image area and use Ctrl+V Paste.

Is your GPU detected and enabled in your Photoshop Preferences performance panel?

Hi JJMack,

Many thanks for the reply,

Yes, I have that checked. I also de-selected and re-selected it, just to see if that would work but it doesn't seem to.

Many thanks,

amanda
