No Signal monitor with Quadro P4000

Hello !

Since few weeks I got a very strange behaviour with Photoshop CC 2018. Sometimes when I start the application the monitor totally looses video signal, which leads to a black screen with "no signal" in the middle of the screen. The only way to recover from this state, is to hard reset the computer with the power button .

It only happens with Photoshop, other Adobe apps seems to work correctly (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator).

I am using a Dell UP2718Q 10bit monitor and a Quadro P4000 video card. I tried many different thing to solve the issue but.... none of the them is ok. The only one which seems to work is to install a very very old Quadro certified driver (377.11) but unfortunately this driver doesn't seem to support 10bit display correctly.

I tried to contact the nVidia support but nothing solved the issue (reinstall driver etc...).

Any idea ?

Today I try to recover by unplug/replug the display port cable after I got the "no signal" error (just few seconds after I've launched Photoshop CC 2018), and it was a success. I got a NVIDIA OpenGL driver error message about "Error code: 3(subcode2)" .

    Hi cédricl67786023,

The module that is failing and causing this crash is "nvoglv64.dll". This is a component your Nvidia video card driver. Make sure you have the latest version of the driver installed (as downloaded from the manufacturer web site, sometimes Windows update doesn't do this properly). Make sure you uninstall the current driver(s) that you have installed before installing the new version (verify the uninstall by checking whether the DLL file involved in this error has been removed from your system).

Please refer Troubleshoot Photoshop graphics processor (GPU) and graphics driver issues for more information.

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Akash
