Pencil crosshair off center

Hello, i am running Photoshop release 21.0.0 and while working with the pencil tool i have noticed that the crosshair is no longer centered when the diameter is set on multples of two (its most noticeable when working with 2px size). Its really annoying and i havent found a clear answer on any of the support posts that asked about this issue, but i hope someone can help...
