I recently updated to the new Mac Big Sur and upon update completion, I was prompted to update Photoshop to th newest version.
Unfortunately, now when I open Photoshop I can no longer create new projects. If I hitFile--> Newnothing happens. I have found a way around this by going toPhotoshop --> Preferences --> General --> Use legacy "New Document" Interface. While this works it's hardly preferred.
The real problem is that I cannotSave Asnew projects. I have resorted to duplicating already saved files and then opening the copy and editing that. This is becoming honestly infuriating and I have tried the following solutions to resolve the problem, but have had no luck:
Switching back to the previous version of Photoshop
Giving Full Disk Access
Any ideas on what is causing this problem? Not too long ago my Photoshop was working fine.
The biggest issue I have is when I clickSave Asnothing happens. No prompt, no spinning wheel, no freezing. Click it and it's as if I clicked NOTHING the same thing goes for the save button.
