shake reduction filter crashes PS frequently

Never used to happen in early versions of CC but it now does more often than not in so much now that I don't use the filter. Can't find any info online on it,. I am win 10, i7 processor, 16gb of ram, 4gb nvidia card. Seems to preview ok, then the crash comes when applying to the image, then 'photoshop has stopped working' error message. This is the only filter that crashes PS, normally on of the last things being applied to image

Hi

Have you tried resetting Photoshop preferences, you may want to backup your settings first

Migrate presets, actions, and settings

Also have you checked Windows event viewer for application errors relating to Photoshop.exe

It may help if you posted your Photoshop system info to, in Photoshop go to Help > System Info and copy and paste that into this thread

Photoshop is using the Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 GPU and not the GeForce GTX 960M, take a look here especially section 7

Troubleshoot Photoshop graphics processor (GPU) and graphics driver issues
