Wacom Intuos 5 Touch Ring Zoom Issue

This is a small problem, but it's been driving me crazy, and I haven't found an answer after an hour of searching.
I have Photoshop CC and a Wacom Intuos 5 Large. I just updated the drivers for my Intuos 5. Before the update, I could do a smooth zoom with the touch ring control--that is, the zoom would be contiguous and move by very small increments, allowing me to move from, say, 247% to 132% and so on. After the update, the zoom moves in big jumps. It will go from 50% to 75% or 100% to 200% with nothing in between.
I've selected the "Zoom with Scroll Wheel" option in the General Preferences, and I've edited my Wacom preferences to have the touch ring zoom go as fast as possible. I've tried rebooting the computer, Photoshop, turning the drivers on and off, and disconnecting and reconnecting the tablet--nada.
Does anyone have a solution? I can live with this, but it interrupts my work flow and it's really frustrating. Thanks!

What version of Wacom driver?
Zoom with Scroll Wheel is a mouse thing I do not if Wacom default Touch Ring setting simulates a mouse Scroll wheel. Because my mouse scroll scroll wheel Zooms Photoshop images differently the my Intuos pro touch ring. Mouse wheel zooms the image however the image windows do not not change in size. With the Intuos touch ring Photoshop zooms both window and image. Like the shortcut keys Ctrl++ and Ctrl+- zooms Photoshop. Because that is how I set the touch ring to work.
How do you have your touch ring zoom setting set? You wrote you made a change tot its setting.
