Why is my brush playing catch up

Hey guys, so when i use my brush in photoshop, mouse or tablet, its started running behind where it should be. When I research it everyone says brush lag. but i dont have photoshop lag, the canvas size dosent change anything, i've set drawing mode to basic, i turned brush catch up mode on / off it makes no difference. If i draw a line and stop drawing, the line slowly moves towards where it should be, if i speed up so does the brush but it always stays like a second behind.

HELPPP :,(

Correct answer lil griff

Have you tried low Smoothing values in the Options Bar?

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

Nah all that did was made things look pixels as i zoom out.

Its all good though the problem is fixed with smoothing off

Please read this:

FAQ: How do I capture and post a screen shot or video?

What are the Brush settings?

Is Smoothing active?

Please post screenshots including the pertinent Panels (Options Bar, Brushes Settings, …).

Yoo,

Unchecking brush smoothing fixed it, so heres some screenshots, what will it mean if i have smoothing off, and why suddenly did smoothing break on me?
