Question

Adobe Premiere Elements 15 - licensed or subscription based?

Hello,

A few years ago (I believe 2017) I purchased Adobe Premiere Elements 15 and the license key worked fine. After that I didn't use it for 1,5 years.

Now it does not work anymore.

Does someone know if a license key for Adobe Premiere Elements 15 expires after one year...? Or if Adobe changed my perpetual license into a subscription without notice?

Thanks,

SJW

I believe Adobe Premiere Elements is a bundle of Photoshop, VideoEditor, etc while I couldn't find a forum with that name...but ok.

or use my perpetual license key for v19 if it's not subscription based.

The key for v15 will not work for v2019.

A couple things to remember about Premiere Elements....

-If you are wanting to stay current, it goes on sale for about $60 about twice a year.

-It is apparently not a design goal to keep it backward comparable.   Projects started in older versions may not open without error in newer versions.

-The newest versions have reduced optical disk burning capability.  DVDs and BDs are becoming a thing of the past.

-The newest version may have audio difficulty with older operating systems.
