Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 installation problem

I have many versions Adobe Photoshop & Premiere Elements.

Recently I bought the latest 2020 but not an upgrade. I bought full version as Amazon was doing a deal at Christmas. After installing Photoshop and typing code it seems to work well.

With Elements I was not asked for code and I can launch programme although it crashes/freezes a lot. I have also noticed under help the updates is greyed out. Why?

I have re installed Elements and it is still the same. Any ideas anyone.

Even the socalled upgrades are full versions.

There are no updates for 2020 (yet).

When was the last time you used a cleaner tool for OS.

I used a cleaner a few days ago. As regards the updates it should still not have been greyed out and why did it not ask me for the serial number to run programme?

If there are or have been no updates the its gray as it has no search function attached. Why should it search for something if it does not excist.

As for the serial number. Did you get one for all or two for each program?

As there is now an update for 2020 it should not be grayed out anymore.

Make sure you have all Windows updates installed.
If that doesn’t work, try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.
