I had adobe tech support fix the problem.  They renamed C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore to SLStoreold

As per ADOBE tech support I installed Adobe Premiere Elements 2024 and video editor still does not open. It says "Loading Adobe Premiere Elements Editor Workspace" for a while then quits. I am running 

iMac

24-inch

Chip: M1

Model year: 2021

Memory: 16 GB

macOS: 14.1.1

Adobe support told me to run CC Cleaner; this did not help.
