Black and Green rectangles instead of video footage

I have been editing video shot on my iPhone in Priemere Elements 2023 without a problem until this week. Now when I import a video all I get is black and green tiles. I have saved the video has an mp4 with another app but Priemere Elements still gives the black and green rectangles. I am using an M1 Macbook Pro. I look forward to your suggestions

Please use the free MediaInfo and post a screenshot of the properties of your media in tree view:

Many users are having issues with VFR. If the file is variable frame rate, use Handbrake to convert to constant frame rate before importing into Premiere Pro:

Shutter Encoder may also be used to convert to Constant Frame Rate:

Hi Peru Bob.  When I go to the first link (mediaInfo) it asks me to download the Debut app. What do I do with this app? Another option the link takes me too is  to download Jira Software? Do I download this is well?

It is a viewing option in MediaInfo.

I have the same issue. Even old projects give this problem. I also use a M1 Macbook Pro and it happenend after upgrading to mac os 14.1.1. Seems like a bugg.
