What version of the program are you using on what operating system?

What processor do you have with how much RAM? How much free space is on your hard drive?kl

Hi Steve,

Thank for your msg. I am using Premiere 2019 in Windows 10 PRO ver. 1909. Have 121 GB free space in HD. Processor is INTEL(R) CORE (TM) i7-3770K CPO 3.50 with 8 GB RAM.

Was able to import from previously created DVD and seems to work fine but wonder why I could not open the project.

Best

Ugo

"...wonder why I could not open the project."

Probably because the pieces of media used in the project were moved or deleted in some other computer maintenance or clean up procedure.  In order to for a project to be opened all the parts and the project itself have to be in the original location.  There are tools to reestablish links if necessary, but all the links still have to be there.
